Do you love the sweet smell of coffee too?

I love coffee. In fact, some would say I'm obsessed. But the more I learn about the coffee industry the more I realize it's a mess. There are unethical practices on the production side, like the harmful harvesting practices that deteriorate the ecology. And let's not forget the ridiculously low wages for farmers that result in subpar living conditions.

I wished it stopped there but it doesn't. I realized that I was part of the problem as well. My quest to visit every indie coffee shop has lead me to use a whole bunch of un recyclable styrofoam and waxed paper cup. I was filling up landfills for a cup of joe. I'm glad I realized it didn't have to be that way.

At Andy+ I want to help clean it up. Join me in the quest to show the world that coffee consumption doesn't have to suck for our planet. I promise we'll have some fun along the way.
